This is the start of the second half of the season so it’s time to start turning our near losses into victories.

This weekend is also sponsor’s and veteran’s day, so we should have a great turnout.

There will be lots going on throughout the day and plenty of banter during the speeches so stick around to get a feel for the Brothers spirit.

Training Thursday 17/06/2010

We’re again training at Koola Park this Thursday, so players please bring your boots, mouthguards, head-gear, etc. along (runners as a backup always!)

Subs

There are still a number of players who haven’t paid their subs. If you’ve received an email or SMS reminding you about this, please bring cash to training or the game on Saturday. Payment can also be made online. Details are on the player membership page. Note that Bluefish Software (Keith Bromwich’s company) owns the PayPal account in which your payments are deposited.

Bus Trip to Blue Mountains 26/06/2010

Next week we are away to the Blue Mountains, so there will be a bus trip. This year we have a very special fancy dress topic:

“Something beginning with E”

So get out your Ewok costumes or dust off your ruffles for that Engelbert Humperdink look, this is going to be Exciting, Entertaining and Extremely Brillant…

As many of you would know this weekend has been scheduled as a wet-weather weekend by the NSWSRU. As such our Round 7 clash against Petersham will be played this Saturday.

Their home ground is Camperdown Oval.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for updates regarding this fixture as weather may again interfere with our season.

Players, if you’re unavailable to attend this Saturday, please let your coaches know ASAP.

Tomorrow’s game against Merrylands is cancelled. Couple of sociable beverages in the Orchard tonight after work instead. Take the rest of the weekend off.

Initial reports suggest that the end of season tour to Townsville will be about $700 a man. Email brothersrugbysydney@gmail.com to show your interest, or let Paul Gibbs or Tom Burns know. Tour will be at end of September.
