Our big guns in fours scored a fantastic victory against Petersham in the major semifinal to get a place in the grand final.

Welcome to the first, yet penultimate, Feisty Finals Report.

Straight from the news-room, we’re sad to say that at half-time today the Voltaren Kids found themselves 8 – 0 down against a confident, fired-up and youthful Petersham out at Hawkesbury.

But that was all to change ladies and gentlemen, as the geriatric warriors, your ever-loyal Zimmer-frame-bandits, came home strong in the 2nd-half to post a 22 – 8 win. Woo hoo!

That sees your Feisty-Friends Grand-Final bound with a week or R-and-R to mend, heal and recuperate.

We’ll be playing the winner of Petersham and Blue Mountains. Let’s hope they belt ‘da’fokkin’ shite’ out of each other next Saturday!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to try and yell louder than Dr Fokker, and we hope to see you all at the Grand Final in a couple of weeks.

Relax gents… next and final training session is Thursday 9th September.

Same place… same time … see you there… no excuses!

Run-on team and Grand Final squad will be announced at this session.

Do whatever you need to do in the next week-and-a-half to help bring home the silverware!

Le Grand Final

Norford Park, Sefton (Off Boundary Rd) on the 11th September.

Kick off is a staggering 10.30 am!

That means we need to be out there well before 9.30am. So no trivia-nights, all-night-raves or grog-fueled family get-togethers the night before please.

W.A.R. Bride founding members, even as we speak, are gathering the blue-and-gold apparel ready to cheer on The Feisty 4th’s to finals victory.

If you can make it, we’d love to see you all there.

And for some it’s the last hurrah, so come on down for a final time. Guaranteed we’ll be giving it our all.

Congratulation to our 4th grade minor premiers. A fantastic effort on Saturday against a tough Merrylands team gave us the title. Read the always entertaining match report.

The semifinal is being held Saturday at Deerubbin Park, Cornwallis Rd, Windsor. Kick off is at 11:20. Let’s get up and support this great bunch of guys.
