North Shore Times

Brothers Rugby got a great write up in the North Shore Times today.

Further Ball Information

Time and place.

This year the ball is being held in the North Sydney Harbourview Hotel. The hotel is located here:

This year the ball kicks off at 6:30 with drinks in Blues Bar in the main hotel.

Then we will move into the ballroom where there will be a selection of free drinks until late.

Dinner will be served in the ballroom and while the three course meal in in progress we will start with the formalities.

After dinner, the speeches and the club awards will be concluded then we can get onto the dance floor with our own private DJ.

Accommodation.

The Harbourview hotel is providing discounted accommodation for the night if you attend the ball, please contact the hotel directly to enquire.

Getting there/away.

The Harbourview hotel is practically next door to North Sydney train station, therefore, it is extremely easy to get to and from. And there is a taxi rank next to the station.

Please note that car parking is not available at the hotel. We recommend car parks adjacent to the hotel, Wilson Parking (entrance via Blue Street) or the Greenwood Plaza (entrance via Pacific Highway). These carparks are managed independently and guests utilising these facilities are responsible for any charges incurred.

Krenmayr Junior

Brothers Blue And Gold Ball

Blue And Gold Ball.

  • Hotstepper
  • Ash And Justin

  • Gentlemen

The Blue and Gold end of season ball has been locked in for Saturday 18th September. The venue is the North Sydney Harbourview Hotel. We have a fantastic night of eating, drinking and dancing lined up and it should be an even bigger and better night than last year.

Tickets are $110 each, but for that you are getting the once in a lifetime opportunity to hear Scotty give a speech. Also included but less of a crowd puller is free drinks, an awesome three course meal and dancing until late. Just think what you would get normally on a Saturday night for $110 dollars.

The end of season ball is the pinnacle of the Brothers social calendar and is the best night out you will have all year and that’s a money back guarantee.*

As usual dress is formal. Guys, this means a suit…. turquoise tuxedos preferred obviously. Ladies, I think you probably don’t need any fashion tips.

Pay for your tickets on the social membership page.

Or talk to Matt McIntyre, Scott James or Tori Gompertz or any of your friendly committee members sand they can take cash off you.

*Money back guarantee does not include complaints about not winning player of the year, or getting slapped by Keith Kitchen. Neither does it include complaints about Scotty’s speech. In fact the money back guarantee pretty much means that you can complain all you like but you’re just not getting your money back. Always read the fine print.

Veterans and Sponsors Day

Veterans & Sponsors Day Saturday 19th of June 2010
Bert Oldfield Oval, Killara Park

Saturday 19th of June is Brothers Rugby Club’s annual Veterans Day. Take this opportunity to catch up with your old mates from CBOB’s at the rugby from Midday on Saturday 19th of June.

Brothers have a temporary new home this year while Roseville Chase Oval undergoes massive ground improvements. Brothers will play all our home games at the salubrious location of
Bert Oldfield Oval, Killara Park. It’s a great venue for rugby!

Come and support your club when Brothers do battle with UWS – Hawkesbury Ag. With the 4th Grade “Veterans” currently sitting in second place on the ladder, it will undoubtedly be a great way to start the afternoon off. It is also rumoured that some of the “legends” of the 1980’s and 1990’s will be “donning” the boots for this special occasion.

Following 1st Grade we will adjourn to the Orchard Tavern in Chatswood for Dinner and Drinks. So, if you can’t make the games, you can catch up at the Orchard!

With 4 grades of top quality of rugby to watch, cold beer and the best steak sandwich in town, where else would you rather be?

Please pass the word to all your mates, bring your family and your friends.

See you on the 19th June!
