As promised the sun came out and we had a glorious autumn day for watching rugby with your mates.
When the Hawkesbury boys left Windsor it was a chilly 4 degrees, by the time they arrived at Roseville Chase it was 26′ and about to get a lot hotter.
All the vets in attendance were treated to a great day of Brothers Rugby with the club posting a clean sweep across the grades.
4s, 3s, and 2s seemed to have the same game plan. start off slow, regroup at half time and finish strong.
Hawkesbury have a never say die attitude and 2s held off a determined Hawkesbury to take the prize.
First grade opened up a lead and just like 2s had to hold out a fast finishing Hawkesbury who nearly got there with a converted try at the death.
All up it was a pretty good day with beers and sausage sangas a plenty and the club song ringing out around the ground.
