Match Report – First Grade v Barker

Brothers 100 – 12 Barker

Well the score line pretty well sums up the performance by Brothers in what was a fun day at the office. Brothers simply dominated play in all facets of the game. It was a 16 try blitz with the scoreline split 50 points per half, exactly 50-7 at half time and 100-12 at full time.

Importantly, it gave Brothers a chance to work on set moves and raids and even know the scrums were uncontested, due to a Barker injury which had them down to 14, the forwards ran riot and provided the backs with the days entertainment. Nine first graders each got meat pies with multiples to Joel 4, Footy 2, Dom North 2 and Tuksie 2.

Whilst next week against Forest will be a “back to reality” tough game, the boys didn’t let Barker off the hook for one moment . Tom pushed them for a 100 at half time and the boys delivered . Well done to all.
