As the score indicated, a tough day for the boys. Our dramas started mid week as a result of injurys to players in higher grades and unavailabilities and we were left without a front row. A big thanks to Steve Jaques who after playing 4s came on and played a full game in 3s, also to Adrian Elysnor who was thrown into the tight head role in only his second game of Rugby. We also had to borrow Niall and Gerry from the 2s for the first half. Thanks for helping out lads.

Not a lot to talk about in regards to the game although the coaches were happy with the effort put in by the players. It is difficult coming up against a side that has a lot of big, fast guys and although we held them for long periods of the game they had the players that could score fom all parts of the field. It is also difficult when we pretty much have a different side each week. Hopefully the club can have a few of our injured players return, especially frontrow and hookers, which would make life a little easier.

Next game is against Epping who are not travelling too well so we should hopefully have a stronger side this week and we can look forward to being a lot stronger showing.
