2nd Grade Match Report – Merrylands

This was always going to be a tough day at the office.

Players were plucked from everywhere with a number doubling up from third and fourth grade, Mick Bird etc, thanks guys.

Once again seconds started the first half way to slow and let Merrylands get their tails up but after half time a number of players committed themselves, in defence especially, and got their work rate up.

In particular Steve Caruna and Liam Casey on the wing these guys have improved immensely and it can only be my coaching coming to the fore! Johnno White at flyhalf put in some scintillating big hits.

With regards to the forwards Felix Volz and Keith Bromwich in the second row, Elvis and Simmo up front with Brownie, Pat Gortley on the side and Justin a new player with a rugby league background on the other, why we should’ve played the All Blacks instead of the Wallabies, my boys go just as hard.

Now imagine the possibilities if we all could attend training!! Good work gentlemen.See you on Thursday you roosters 6.45PM SHARP!!!!
