Sunday Sports Arvo @ The Willoughby Hotel
September 9, 2015Christmas is almost here
September 22, 2015Non-contact Sports Afternoon Fund Raiser
During round 17 of the Kentwell Cup, fullback Hugh Ballie suffered a nasty leg injury, braking both bones at the ankle. After 10 days in hospital, the insertion of plates and screws to fix his leg, Bails is now in recovery mode but will be off work for up to 5 months.
To celebrate the end of the season and to assist Bails during this time, the club has organised a “non-contact pub sports afternoon” upstairs at the Willoughby Hotel on Sunday 20th of September. Kicking off at 1pm, come try your hand at carpet bowls or table tennis or simply have a beer with your mates.
Cost is $40 per head, payable at the door, any money raised will go towards helping Bails get through this difficult period and cover some of the medical expenses he has incurred.
Donations welcome, and appreciated.
Your $40 will also include finger food, beer, wine and soft drink and is open to anyone who loves a Sunday arvo session for a good cause.
Please jump onto the clubs Facebook page like the post if you are attending so we can get rough numbers for catering purposes and please share the post and flyer with your friends.
See you at the Willo!!!!
