BROTHERS RUGBY SYDNEY SIGNS SECOND MOU

After having signed a MOU to be the official community rugby partner of Australian Catholic University Sydney, Brothers Rugby Sydney has also signed a MOU with Campion College, a Catholic liberal arts university based at Toongabbie. Although small, it is on a strong growth path and our MOU also extends to alumni of Campion who the college will encourage to join Brothers if they wish to play rugby. As with ACU this MOU is in effect for three years. We will provide one competitive education scholarship to Campion College in return.

ACU have also welcomed members of Campion to join the ‘Try Women’s Sevens Rugby’ program we have been engaged to run for ACU at their Strathfield campus at the start of first semester in 2024. This should further boost our chances of fielding a Women’s Sevens team in 2024.

This is another example of the innovative ways the committee is looking to re-invigorate the club starting in 2024. In order to be realised, all of our plans require the efforts of club members and supporters, and we will be seeking assistance from anyone capable and willing to provide it. More details will follow, but for the moment please note the efforts we are making to re-grow the club.
