Dear Brothers,

It seems the never-ending glory associated with being Brothers Player of The year 2011 (autographs available on request) comes with certain responsibilities… and a few lessons learned.

The first of these… show up the AGM otherwise some prick (Tom Burns) will nominate you for a position on the committee!

So here I am… Social Secretary for 2012… with my first function: BROTHERS CHRISTMAS DRINKS… THE ORCHARD…16TH DECEMBER…THIS FRIDAY!

Not sure how best to motivate you blokes, so have chosen a time-honoured sure-fire idiot-magnet – a beer with your mates.

But seriously, beer is good… and there’s going to be plenty of it in 2012 because it’s going to be a big year… read on.

While you lot have been relaxing and getting spray tans, a team of the devoted have been doing the hard-yards to make 2012 a great year.

They’ve been recruiting new players, finding a bunch of young blokes to play Colts, and getting all of the paperwork done to hopefully see Brothers back in Subbies 3rd Division in 2012.

And all we’re asking is that you pop down The Orchard for a beer!

Seriously – we need to you to make the effort. Come down this Friday, bring a mate if possible… and welcome new players, as we need the numbers for 2012. The more the merrier.

But wait…there’s more ..

Some legend has made an offer too good to refuse… if you bring a player down to Brothers in 2012 and they stay for at least two games…there’s a case of beer coming you way!

Doesn’t get any better than that.

Get on the phone and call your team-mates. No excuses. See you there!
