HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO SEASON
2025 !

We’ve already had the first committee meeting of the year and locked in a few
things, so put these dates in your diary:

• Saturday 1 February: Bunnings BBQ at Chatswood
• Wednesday 5 February: Pre-season training starts under Adam Pisano at Roseville Chase from 6.15 pm then every Wednesday thereafter
• Saturday 12 April: Round 1
• Friday 1 August: Brothers in the City

Bunnings BBQ

This is the first fundraiser for the year and a recruiting opportunity for the club.

We need to serve food from 0800-1600 so we’re looking for people to help out with the following shifts:

• 08:00-10:00
• 10:00-12:00
• 12:00-14:00
• 14:00-16:00

If you can help us with any of these shifts let me know at president@brothersrugby.com.au. No experience required.

Coaching

We have coaches locked in for Women’s and Colts and an option for Seniors but we are still looking for a paid Rugby Director/Seniors coach position. If you know of anyone who may be interested then get them to contact president@brothersrugby.com.au

For those interested in starting a coaching career, there is a free Level 2 coaching course being run over the weekend 22-23 Feb. Let me know ASAP at president@brothersrugby.com.au if interested.

Recruiting

This is a continuous process, so help us by getting the word out about what the club can offer. We have attached a flyer so please use this to put on your own social media platforms or pass on to friends/family or at the workplace.

We can all help the club by helping our recruitment drive.

We are also manning booths at four O Week gatherings during February at Notre Dame Uni, ACU and Campion College, which should also help our recruitment efforts.

Non-Playing Membership

Show your support for the club and help us raise funds by taking out an annual Blue and Gold membership that not only gives you discounts at the canteen but voting rights as well.

At $50 for the year it’s cheap at double the price. Wherever you are, whatever link you have with the club we’d love to have your support.

The online shop is now back open for business for you to order your Brothers Rugby merchandise. We’ll be adding to the range (and let us know if you think we should add anything) throughout the year. Remember, you can never have too much supporters gear.
